CELEBRATE ST.VALENTINE’S DAY AT QUALIA – qualia (www.qualia.com.au) has its own special St. Valentine’s Day package which treats guests to an indulgent sensory experience including a special five-course gourmet menu and a chocolate turndown made exclusively by world-class pastry chef, Oriol Balaguer. 

The five-course Valentine’s Day gastro spectacular will be specially prepared by qualia executive chef, Jane-Therese Mulry, accompanied by matching wines. Jane-Therese’s extensive experience, gained in five-star kitchens in Australia, South Africa and the UK, includes being Marco Pierre White’s first female head chef at MPW Canary Wharf along with working in several of his Michelin starred restaurants. 

Upon turndown in one of qualia’s secluded pavilions, a chocolate gift box will be waiting, exclusively made by internationally renowned pastry, chocolate and dessert chef (and former pastry chef at El Bulli), Oriol Balaguer. 

The qualia romance packages are priced from:

  • AUS$950 (approx £612) for a “Classic” package (with breakfast) in a Leeward pavilion and AUS$1,450 (approx£934) in a Windward pavilion
  • The Gourmet package (breakfast and dinner food only) from AUS$1,200 (approx £773) in a Leeward pavilion and AUS$1,700 (approx£1,095) in a Windward pavilion.

All packages are priced per night and include:

  • Overnight accommodation in a Leeward or Windward pavilion
  • Breakfast in qualia’s Long Pavilion
  • VIP return transfers to Hamilton Island airport/marina
  • Sole use of a two-seater golf buggy
  • Use of non-motorised watercraft

PLEASE NOTE - The love flight and Whitehaven Beach picnic are both available throughout the year and can be booked at an additional cost. The Gourmet Package at qualia also includes the special Valentine’s Day meal and turndown. Prices are for twin-share accommodation and do not include alcoholic beverages. qualia does not cater for persons under 16 years. The special Valentine’s five-course gourmet dinner and exclusive chocolate turndown are only available on 14th February.
