Samrab Thai

The Page is known for its Thai and international fusion dishes. It also offers a selection of old-kingdom Thai cuisine sadly absent from most contemporary dining tables. The concept of ‘Samrab Thai’ is a Page innovation combining eight distinct flavours and textures from traditional Thai cooking. The result is a feast designed for sharing.

Wagyu Beef 9+

Offering the best Wagyu beef on the island, the Australian beef at The Page comes with a marbling score of 9+ and a distinctive melt-in-the-mouth velvety texture.

Cooking With Class

The one-hour Cooking With Class cookery classes are available for guests wishing to learn how to prepare traditional Thai dishes. The dishes include deep fried spring rolls, tom yum soup and Thai green curry prawns. For more advanced cooks there is braised beef shank with shrimp paste and Thai basil, and savoury crab crepe bites with shrimps. These cooking classes are presided over by Executive Sous Chef, Chef Thanakrit Karaket.

Upon completion of the course guests receive a certificate and a personalised apron. They can then enjoy the fruits of their labour over lunch.

Dinner by Starlight

For lovers of starlit dining, an intimate private dinner on a pristine stretch of beach can be arranged. This experience comes complete with a personal butler and bespoke menu.

101 Cocktails

Swap your beach parasol for a Beach Bar cocktail umbrella. The Beach Bar has become something of an institution on Koh Samui, regaled for its dizzying selection of 101 unique cocktails that range from ‘Sex on the Bean Bags’ to ‘Tom Yum Rum’.

Tea By The Sea

After a day of sun, sea and sand, an afternoon of relaxed sophistication is in order. Fine teas, delicious savouries, delicate pastries and exotic fruit can all be enjoyed on Chaweng Beach.

And, last but not least Breakfast in a Beach Bed

The Library has put a Thai twist on the traditional ‘breakfast in bed’ experience by setting up a crisp white linen covered mattress on Chaweng Beach so guests can enjoy the sunrise before tucking into a delicious breakfast.

About The Library:

Stylish, chic and effortlessly elegant The Library promises guests a blank page upon which to write their own story. Named in homage to the property’s in-house collection of 1,400 books covering art, design, literature and culture, The Library’s restrained, sophisticated atmosphere reflects the understated, peaceful design respecting nature.

The palette of bold block colours, dominated by white, red and grey, supports simple furnishings complemented by exotic art pieces.

An immediate icon is The Library’s signature Red Pool which Trip Advisor quickly identified as “One of the world’s most fantastic swimming pools”.

The Library currently offers 26 guest rooms consisting of suites and studios, but a new chapter is being written for The Library. November 2017 will see the “publication” of 20 pool villas designed around an eight-meter saltwater swimming pool, known collectively as the Secret Chapters.
