Sailing remains at the heart of this Whitsunday isle, from the CEO of Hamilton Island, Glenn Bourke, who is a twice sailing Olympian and former Australian Yachtsman of the Year, to owner Robert Oatley, whose yacht, Wild Oats XI, recently won the prestigious Rolex Sydney to Hobart race for a record equalling seventh time.
